Hundreds of Republican faithful from all over the state met at a resort in the scenic Wisconsin Dells for the three-day Wisconsin GOP convention from May 12 through 14. Despite the goings-on in D.C., this state-level event had much to celebrate about its victories in 2016. Cheeseheads, red, white, and blue elephants, and star-spangled women’s tops decorated the happy, enthusiastic crowd applauding and cheering the stellar speakers of the convention.

Rep. Bob Gannon, the Chairman of the Assembly’s Committee on Urban Revitalization will be holding a listening session on Tuesday, May 23. The hearing starts at 6:00pm and will be held at the AFP offices at 10111 West Capitol Drive.
It will be an opportunity to share with Rep. Gannon what improvements can be made by the State Legislature to help the City of Milwaukee. This is not a speech by Rep. Gannon, but will a give and take between him and participants.
It will be well worth your time and energy.
There is, indeed, a bombshell of a story coming out of the news that President Donald Trump revealed sensitive information during his White House meeting with Russian officials last week. But it’s not that President Trump committed any crime. The really alarming news is that the duly-elected President of the United States appears to be the target of a political coup.
