Mercantilism eats Free Trade

The notion that computers eat jobs is worthy of a 1950s professor of economics. Fifty-six thousand manufacturing facilities have closed in the U.S. since 2001. The jobs in those plants were not lost due to computers.

During an economic cycle, manufacturing expands worldwide to meet demand. Factories are located in countries where manufacturing is most cost efficient. Computers aren’t the problem, nor do they have the negative impact that Free Trade has had on manufacturing in our country.

Why Aren’t Murderous Communists Condemned Like Nazis Are?

In Europe, especially in Germany, hoisting a swastika-emblazoned Nazi flag is a crime. For decades after World War II, people have hunted down and sought punishment for Nazi murderers, who were responsible for the deaths of more than 20 million people.

Here’s my question: Why are the horrors of Nazism so well-known and widely condemned, but not those of socialism and communism? What goes untaught — and possibly is covered up — is that socialist and communist ideas have produced the greatest evil in mankind’s history.

Happy May Day: A hundred million people were murdered by Marxist dictators in the 20th century

That basic truth cannot be repeated often enough. That figure comes from left-wing historians in France. If you thought totalitarianism would fade away after the Cold War, think again. North Korea keeps concentration camps for 200,000 people, according to recent satellite photos. The moral difference among Hitler, Stalin, and the Kims is zilch, zero, nada. There are no moral distinctions among willful mass murderers.

Liberals never seem to get that elementary point.

As Paul Johnson points out in his crucial book, Intellectuals, prominent Western professors and media heroes consciously enabled mass murder all over the Nazi-Marxist world. They still do. That is knowing, criminal collusion in murder on an unimaginable scale.

Big-name philosophers in England and France supported both Hitler and Stalin — a sort of serial mass murder-enabling racket. Paul Johnson’s book is an essential read.

But liberals everywhere are in denial about the new totalitarianism, which is exactly like the old totalitarianism.

Gendercide: the REAL War on Women

The silence of the so-called ‘feminists’

Where are the girls? The answer should shame us all. Abortion for sex selection is practised so regularly in this country that it’s led to a shortfall in the population of girls. Thousands are “missing”, especially in certain immigrant communities. Aborting babies because they are female has been widespread in India and China for generations: there are as many as 120 boys for every 100 girls there. Now the practice has come to distort British demography – and values.

Sex-selective abortion remains a crime in Britain, but, as the Telegraph investigation last year revealed, it is increasingly common. The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has ruled that guidance for doctors in this area should be updated – but did not prosecute the two doctors exposed in the Telegraph investigation.

When parents can abort a baby because it’s a girl, they are guilty of the worst kind of sexism. Rape, porn, the tyranny of beauty that compels little girls to perform plastic surgery to attain perfection: these are nothing in comparison to the mindset that will not allow for girls to be conceived in the first place.
