COUNTY CAUCUS:
The caucus of the Republican Party of Milwaukee County will be held on Sat. Feb. 24, at Klemmers.
Reservations for breakfast must be received by TBD, details to come.

There is no admission charge for branch caucuses (caucii?), but you must be a current member of the Republican Party of Milwaukee County to participate in your local caucus.
To qualify as a delegate at the RPMC annual caucus, new members must submit their application by 11:59pm on Fri. Jan. 26, or be postmarked by that date. Current members must be renewed by 11:59pm on Mon. Feb. 15, or be postmarked by that date.

DISTRICT CAUCUSES:
First District – Sat. March 17, 2018 at 11 am. Location: TBA.
Fourth District – Sat. TBA, Registration 8:30 * Great Buffet Breakfast & Provocative Speeches start 8:45 * Caucus 9:15; at Milwaukee Athletic Club, 758 North Broadway, Mil 53202 (At Mason)

Kenzer Senat, the Director of African American Outreach of the Republican Party of Wisconsin will be the guest of both groups.

The Milwaukee North Branch will also be discussing the yearly caucus, on January 16th.
We will be at our regular meeting place, Kam’s Thistle & Shamrock, 3438 N 84th St.

RPMC at Juneteenth Day Festival on Mon June 19

The Republican Party of Milwaukee County will host a booth for the 5th year at the Milwaukee Juneteenth Festival on Monday, June 19th from 10:00am – 3:00pm. We will be sharing our positive message of individual freedom and hope along with candy, DVDs and a drawing for a Power Washer. Come join us.

We are 2 blocks north of Center on MLK Drive. By the old Ponderosa on the east side of the road.

History of Juneteenth
Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States. Dating back to 1865, it was on June 19th that the Union soldiers, led by Major General Gordon Granger, landed at Galveston, Texas with news that the war had ended and that the enslaved were now free. Note that this was two and a half years after President Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation – which had become official January 1, 1863.

As Republicans we proudly celebrate the freedom Juneteenth represents.

DISTRICT CAUCUSES:
First District – Sat. March 25 at 10am, at the Monte Carlo Room in Elkhorn
Fourth District – Sat. March 25 at 9am at the Milwaukee Athletic Club.
Fifth District – Sun. April 2 at the Hilton Garden Inn Milwaukee Park Place, 11600 West Park Place, Milwaukee, WI, 11:45 social, 12:30 brunch, 1pm caucus.
Sixth District – TBA

The official caucus of the Republican Party of Milwaukee County (RPMC) will be on Sat. February 25, 2017.
Registration begins at 8 am, breakfast buffet at 8:30 am and caucus at 9:00 am.
Location: Radisson Hotel Milwaukee West, 2303 N. Mayfair Rd.

THIS IS A MEMBER EVENT ONLY. Membership renewals must be made no later than Thursday February 15, 2017 to be eligible to vote. New members must have paid no later than January 26, 2017 to be eligible to vote and attend the meeting.
Caucus agenda includes election of Executive Board officers and members-at-large for 2017 to 2019; adoption of rules, credentials, resolutions; vote on delegates/alternates; and any other business to come before the caucus.
